Teri has been a professional dog groomer since 1996. She has also worked in a veterinarian's office and at a dog kennel. She now works at The Yellow Dog’s Barn, LLC as their dog groomer. Chris has grown up with dogs his whole life. His mother raised Chow Chows and Pomeranians. Since he has been with Teri (8 yrs in 2008) he has grown to love dogs as much as her. They own a 3 year old Brussels Griffon named Goyal that they both just love to pieces. Since Goyal gets to go to dog daycare everyday with Teri, (and he loves it) they both thought “how can we help other busy dog owners get their dog to daycare”? And, The Travelin’ Hound, LLC was born. Both Teri and Chris know that a person's time in the morning is very precious and that dog owners don’t like leaving their dogs home alone all day. That is why they are giving dog owners this safe and convenient way for their dogs to have a happy day away from home. There is nothing better than having a tired, happy dog when you get done with your long day.
The Travelin’ Hound bus is equipped with harness seatbelts for calm dogs or ones that are used to wearing one, and crates for the more active or unsure dogs. Safety is Teri and Chris’s number one priority, that is why they have taken all precautions to fully secure all the equipment to make sure no dog gets injured or injures another dog.
